First Filter was founded in 1995, starting with a small office on Killiney Road in Singapore and a modest manufacturing plant in Malaysia. In these early days, we specialized in producing small tools for oil well completion, laying the foundation for what would become a global operation.

After successfully operating for over a decade in the Southeast Asian market, we made a strategic decision to expand our manufacturing capabilities to China. This bold move marked our first major international expansion beyond our initial region, allowing us to tap into new market opportunities and capture emerging business in the rapidly growing Chinese energy sector.

A year after establishing our presence in China, we opened operations in Oman, strategically positioning ourselves in the Middle East. This expansion provided us with a vital base in one of the world's most important oil-producing regions, enabling closer partnerships with major Middle Eastern energy companies and access to the region's robust oil and gas industry.

Building on our international success, we returned focus to our home region by expanding into Indonesia. This strategic move enhanced the sophistication of our Southeast Asian operations, creating a more comprehensive regional network. During this period, our original Malaysian facility began its transition into a specialized R&D center, while our Singapore headquarters expanded into larger office spaces to better coordinate our growing global footprint.

Our greatest challenge came with the establishment of operations in Texas, United States. This landmark expansion allowed us to work directly with American oil companies in the heart of the U.S. energy industry. By providing our specialized tools and expertise on American soil, we significantly strengthened our global presence and achieved a long-held ambition to support oil infrastructure development in one of the world's largest energy markets.

Today, we maintain thriving operations across all our established regions while focusing on deepening our presence in the Middle East through multiple new facilities across Oman. As we look to the future, our strategy remains focused on breaking into emerging markets while continuing to strengthen relationships with our existing clients and customers worldwide.
